Nuovo video dalla mia ultima seduta di aerobica: solo Industrial Dance!!
Ieri, dopo aver scaricato dalla fotocamera il video, mi sono divertito un sacco a smanettare con un nuovo programma di "effetti speciali" per filmati!
Credo che il risultato, al primo tentativo, sia piuttosto carino, sono già riuscito a mettere qualche effetto al punto giusto!
Ho realizzato questo video ieri, quando fuori c'erano -12 C° e io, al calduccio della mia "sala macchine" mi sono riscaldato a dovere!
Alcuni amici mi hanno fatto notare che mi muovo come un missile, e si, in effetti è vero, ho ballato a velocità supersonica, ma con questo pezzo sotto non si poteva fare diversamente (alla fine grondavo!).
Comunque, spenta la fotocamera, ho continuato questo divertente allenamento per un altra mezz'ora alternando ritmi più veloci a brani più lenti e alla fine ho fatto un ottimo allenamento diversificato a ritmo discontinuo.
Ballando ad alto ritmo, con pezzi come quello che si sente nel video le pulsazioni si impennano alle stelle, la sensazione organica è all'incirca come corrersi una ripetuta da 1000 a 3:30/km.
Per me è tutto esercizio complementare e mi diverto!;)
Basta un lettore CD, una camera e musica a palla ed ecco come ci si allena nella stagione invernale!! ALLA FACCIA DEL GELO!! Ah ah ;)

Mi sono dimenticato di postare questo video, realizzato un pò di tempo fa sull'interessante piattaforma Sketchcast.com.
Si tratta di uno spazio a registrazione gratuita che mette a disposizione un foglio bianco virtuale e una tavoletta con gli strumenti base per realizzare divertenti sketch o illustrazioni.
L'illustrazione che vedete qua sopra l'ho realizzata interamente a mouse; ci vuole pazienza ma i risultati sono interessanti. Il discorso si potrebbe fare ancora più interessante utilizzando una tavoletta grafica..

I've drawn the illustration you see above completely by mouse; it takes a little patience but the results are pretty interesting and they would be even more by using a graphic tablet...

Yeah! Ho ricevuto questo Gormito in regalo per Pasqua...credo che il nome dell'esemplare qua sopra sia Boo Bamboo o qualcosa del genere.....quale occasione migliore per prendere su carta e penna e dedicargli una bella illustrazione/poster!
L'ho disegnata direttamente a penna su quaderno di appunti ieri sera prima di andare a dormire, per quanto riguarda la colorazione: mouse usato come pennarello su Photoshop e qualche filtro effetti...

Desidero esprimere il mio cordoglio e vicinanza morale a tutte le vittime del terremoto in Abruzzo della scorsa notte.
Capisco benissimo cosa state provando in questo momento in quanto sono stato anch'io vittima di una terribile calamità naturale nel 1994: l'alluvione del 6 novembre che ha colpito duramente in Piemonte e nell'alessandrino dove vivo io.
Abbiate tanta forza nel rialzarvi e andare avanti. Un forte abbraccio.

Non si può negare che "X Factor" sia un format di successo. "Amici" di Maria De Filippi non lo è da meno. Se poi facciamo riferimento al recente Festival di Sanremo siamo costretti a consegnare a Bonolis la laurea ad honorem nella conduzione. Nulla da ridere. Ma se è da pochi anni che è nata la professione di personaggio televisivo, in tempi recenti dobbiamo registrare anche altri importanti e remunerati ruoli. Va bè, voi direte, non bastavano i cosiddetti figuranti che non sanno ballare, recitare, cantare, scrivere, che non hanno opinioni se un autore non gliele suggerisce, che non brillano in nessuna disciplina parartistica se non in quella di essere l'amante di qualcuno o l'amico di qualcun altro? No, qui siamo di fronte a una serie di pochi eletti che hanno una missione nella vita: ispirarsi a Dio.
Diciamocelo, il Padreterno è già impegnato di suo, non possiamo mica pretendere che si occupi anche della rappresentazione della vita via tv! Non sarebbe nemmeno onesto per il capo dei capi, occuparsi di dare all'attento audience, una parvenza, naturalmente pilotata, della realtà. No, per questo compito, per fortuna ha delegato, o si sono delegati da soli, alcuni personaggi che, investiti di un certo ruolo, riescono a decidere della vita, della carriera, e a volte persino dei sentimenti di chi si presta a fare il conocrrente pubblico.
I professori d'università sono spariti dal ranking mondiale. Il loro potere nei confronti dei giovani, paragonato a quello della Ventura o di Morgan, è ridicolo. I grandi maestri della danza, del canto e della recitazione sono stati soppiantati da Maria De Filippi e da altri tizi che dopo aver soppesato le occhiatacce della conduttrice principe, sparano ad altezza ragazzo giudizi che ammarebbero un bufalo cafro. Quindi così come la pubblicità reiterata ti convince a non cambiare un tuo fustino con due senza marca ma a buon mercato e validissimi, non sei una brava ballerina se non sei passata da quelle forche caudine televisive.
E' un'epoca diabolica quella che permette a certa gente, a volte incompetente e rancorosa, di occupare il video per difendere un proprio artista del quale se ne fotte se non altro perchè capisce di musica quanto un somaro con delle banane infilate nelle orecchie. Ma se tu vuoi sapere come va il mondo, come va la vita, cosa devi fare per farti ingaggiare o sentirti dire bravo, devi passare da lì. Lì dove alcuni "dei", mandati in terra dal signore di tutte le ottuse dittature, occupando lo schermo dei nostri sogni, a seconda degli ascolti possono decidere di arrabiarsi, di commuoversi, di litigare e anche di voler bene a qualcuno. Naturalmente in diretta! Tu potrai, anzi dovrai votare. Loro ti tengono in grande considerazione.
Coi tuoi soldi pagano il budget. Se poi sbagli a scegliere qualcuno, non preoccuparti. Ci penseranno loro a fare una classifica...giusta.
però desiderano averti al loro fianco quando, indecisi e sofferti, salveranno qualcuno dall'anonimato o lo ricacceranno con evidente protervia là da dove era venuto carico di speranze.
Sapete qual è il messaggio che passa? Studiare conta poco. Basta essere nella manica di quei quattri o cinque. Nerone, pressato dai sudditi romani che al Colosseo gli chiedevano di mostrare un certo tipo di pollice, su o giù, non poteva immaginare che duemila anni dopo ci saremmo trovati pari pari nell'arena.
Ah, a proposito di allegorie, cosa credete, che in politica o in economia sia diverso?

Da parte mia si meritano un bel FUCK YEAH! esclamato a corna alzate al cielo e il mio apprezzamento l'ho dimostrato stando a darci dentro con colpi di testa per tutta la durata dello show. Non ho mai seguito la serie dei Gormiti che piace tanto ai bambini, nè ho mai collezionato le carte giocabili. Tuttavia recentemente mia mamma ha deciso di regalarmi una bustina contenente il Gormito qua sopra raffigurato, "Il Signore Della Foresta" per la precisione. Perchè mai me l'avrà regalato? Forse per far si che il bambino che c'è in me sia sempre vivo e creativo.....e infatti prendo la palla al balzo non solo per disegnarlo (è stato divertente realizzare quei piccoli dettagli della corteccia), ma anche per incrementare il numero di personaggi nella mia collezione di action figures!!

I've never followed the Gormitis serie nor have i collectioned the cards. Yet my mum recently decided to give me the above shown Gormito as a present, precisely "The Lord Of the Forest. Why has she ever given me that? Perhaps in order to let the child within me being alive and creative....in fact i took advantage of this not only for drawing this character (it was funny to make all those small details on the bark) but also to increase the number of characters in my own personal action figure collection!! Fuori piove e non si corre? Corda + bici in casa!!! The At Home Work Out

Uhhhh, sulla via della preparazione per la Maratona di New York, oggi ho dovuto saltare la mia sessione di corsa al ritmo medio a causa della pioggia, nonostante ciò, nella mia stanza/palestra ho fatto una bellissima seduta di corda + bicicletta a ritmo di musica davvero soddisfacente. Dieci minuti di corda continui seguiti in rapida successione da altri dieci di bicicletta a pendenza abbastanza impegnativa e ritmo allegro.

Il cross training, oltre ad essere divertente è un tipo di allenamento parecchio completo, in quanto combinando diverse attività aerobiche si possono utilizzare tutti i muscoli del corpo e raggiungere veramente una forma "TOTALE"!! Eheh!

Quindi tonicità e definizione di tutti i muscoli, e massima importanza al muscolo fondamentale per ogni attività....Il Cuore.. Provate provate!

Uhhhh, on the way to the New York City Marathon, today i had to skip my running session at medium speed because of the rain; despite this, i had a good work out session in my gym room. It was about skipping the rope plus cycling with music on air.....really satisfying. Ten ongoing minutes of skipping and ten of cyclyng at a pretty hard pendence at a quick pace.

The cross training gives you alot of fun 'cause it allows you to diversify the work out, plus it's a complete training since by combining different aerobic activities one can use all the muscles and get such a "TOTAL" shape!! Eheh, you gotta believe me!

Therefore tonicity and definition for all of the body parts and maximum importance to the fundamental muscle for every sport activity....the Heart... Now you try! :)

Una gita tra amici un pò di tempo fa! Clamoroso headbang sulla via del ritorno di Carlo...all'epoca, credo che fosse il 2004/05 fu divertente notare la faccia basita della conducente nell'auto sullo sfondo......(che qui però non si nota!).

Quando un uomo pensa rimane al di fuori di ciò che sta cercando di capire. Esiste la sensibilità qui e ora, quando non interrotta ed analizzata da idee o concetti. Nel momento in cui smettiamo di analizzare e proseguiamo, possiamo cominciare a vedere, a sentire, come un tutto. Non c'è chi compie l'azione e chi la subisce, ma l'azione in sè. Ho una sensazione e la percepisco interamente senza dargli un nome. Alla fine l'io e la sensazione si fondono diventando un tutto unico. L'io sente di non poter più essere separato dal tu e l'idea di trarre profitto o di tirar fuori qualcosa da qualcos'altro diventa del tutto assurda. Per quanto mi riguarda, non ho altro io (senza contare il pensiero) al di fuori dell'unicità delle cose di cui sono conscio in quel particolare momento.
Non riesco a concepire uno schema concettualmente definito, e la caratteristica essenziale del sentire la vita si colloca nella sensazione stessa. Evitate, mentre vi state congratulando con voi stessi, di mettervi ad esaminare se state ricavando il massimo dalla situazione. Altrimenti, non soddisfatti di sentirvi felici, desidererete avere la sensazione di sentirvi felici.

Ma l'abito fa il monaco? Pensieri condivisibili

Avete presente il vecchio detto "L'abito non fa il monaco"?... ecco aboliamolo. Fino a qualche anno fa, forse era ancora applicabile ma oggi... eccome se lo fa, il monaco ovviamente.
E non solo fa il monaco, ma l'abito ti dice anche a quale ordine monastico appartiene, a quanti anni ha preso i voti, quando ha sentito la chiamata e quante volte al giorno si pente di ciò che ha fatto.
Non c'è manco da dirlo, nè da aggiungere qualcosa a ciò che già è stato detto: basta farsi un giro in città in un qualsiasi giorno della settimana, accendere la tv in una qualsiasi ora del giorno, ascoltare una qualunque conversazione e si scoprirà che l'essere e l'apparire non sono più distinguibili. Sono come un'amalgama, cioè due parole che fuse insieme formano una nuova parola ma che poi non sono più distinguibili tra loro. Ecco l'essere e l'apparire: che non esistono più singolarmente, ma solo assieme dato che per essere qualcuno si deve pur apparire e per aver buoni risultati nell'apparire si deve avere un gran essere. Ma credo che ormai ci sia una gran confusione di tutti i concetti: apparire nella massa, che comporta davvero essere qualcuno, e l'essere qualcuno che può comportare il mettersi in mostra. Ormai il punto è: chi appare di più essendo se stesso al meglio, cioè chi si mette più in mostra mantenendo una coerenza maggiore con se stesso, facendo coincidere il più possibile la sua persona con il suo personaggio.
Bella sfida! Perchè le contaminazioni umane sono peggio dei virus mortali, perciò dite un bel: "CIAO" all'unicità e a quel "non so che" che avevate solo voi, perchè molto probabilmente quel "non so che" è stato brevettato ed ora è in vendita. Oggi nulla più ci stupisce: non usciamo con nessuno? ..amen, perchè tanto su facebook abbiamo 1352 amici, e poi c'è sempre la scusa che per le comunicazioni è più semplice e meno dispendioso. Non ci piacciono più i nostri capelli? ..amen, ti puoi attaccare in testa quelli di qualcun altro.
C'è un modo per risolvere ogni problema, peccato che non sia la soluzione. Tra l'essere e l'apparire, durante la grande sfida, ha vinto l'apparire che, non solo l'ha stracciato con un paio di pugni ben assestati, ma lo ha anche mangiato inglobandolo dentro di se. E così, ecco la conseguenza assurda che ne è derivata: tutti appaiono in un modo o nell'altro, apparire è la condizione primaria per essere davvero, in quanto se non appari, difficilmente qualcuno ti darà retta. E così non solo vince la legge della giungla, ma vince la legge del reality; cioè vince il più apparentemente anomalo, chi si differenzia di più in tutto: nei vestiti, nella parlata, per la gentilezza o per la stronzaggine, oppure perchè eccede in tutto.
E' come se quell'essere unici, di cui tutti parlavano un pò di tempo fa, si fosse trasformato in un essere diversamente uguale, con l'aggiunta di una convinzione innaturale di essere davvero inimitabili, mentre invece ogni posto sembra una casa degli specchi. E bisognerebbe anche invalidare quel tanto amato: "le apparenze ingannano" perchè assolutamente le apparenze sono il perfetto ritratto della persona e questo devo ancora decidere se sia un bene o un male.
Non ci si nasconde più dietro a nulla, anzi, chi si vuole più nascondere? Tutto ciò che facciamo, diciamo, indossiamo e il modo in cui lo facciamo, lo diciamo e lo indossiamo sono indicatori di noi stessi... sono gli altri a decidere come noi appariamo.
Non ci resta che adeguarci alla categoria che più ci sembra congeniale e sperare di avere gli accessori adatti per poterne far parte!

Ho scoperto questo tipo di ballo da non molto e devo dire che mi diverte parecchio..E' un buon esercizio per ripassare arti marziali, come riscaldamento o anche solo per ballare e basta. Questi sono passi associati spesso alla musica industrial dark ma si va alla grande anche con la dance o comunque dove c'è un buon battito alla base...Al prossimo post per vedere questi passi con la musica!

I recently discovered this kind of dance steps and i have to admit that they're kinda cool...It's a good excercise to practice martial arts, warming up before the work out or just dance. These steps are usually associated to the industrial dark music but you can dance very well on anykind of rhythm with a good basic beat..
Next post is gonna be about these steps with music!! Stay tuned! :)

112 opere è la cifra del grande successo del concorso Moving PIXEL promosso da Flashfumetto.it e curato dall’Ufficio Giovani del Comune di Bologna, in collaborazione con Hamelin Associazione Culturale. In attesa della proclamazione dei vincitori, nella galleria virtuale (http://www.flashfumetto.it/artisti/gallerievirtuali_pagina/id-4/gal-10) sono già on line tutte le opere realizzate da giovani artisti provenienti non solo da Bologna, ma anche da tutta l’Italia e dall’estero. La sfida lanciata da Flashfumetto è stata raccolta, oltre che da tante “giovani promesse”, da tempo impegnate nel mondo del fumetto, anche da moltissimi disegnatori “under 18” e da vari istituti d’arte delle scuole superiori. Le tecniche utilizzate sono state molteplici dall’illustrazione, al fumetto, dalla pittura alla fotografia, intrecciando spesso le diverse discipline grazie all’uso delle tecnologie digitali, rappresentando il movimento e la velocità nei modi più vari e interessanti. 4 marzo 2009 alle 12.30 - Sala Borsa. Il 4 marzo alla Sala Borsa di Bologna, all’interno della terza edizione diBilBOlBul – Festival Internazionale di Fumetto, verranno proclamati ivincitori selezionati da una giuria di qualità, composta da Francesco Mattioli, Claudio Nader, Marco Pellitteri e Gianluca Testa. Facebook & Myspace: una realtà indispensabile? - La moderna incapacità di relazionarsi realmente

Dovrei tornare a limitare molto la "REALTA' VIRTUALE", o per meglio dire, utilizzare la realtà virtuale, cioè INTERNET all'essenziale.
Avere conoscenze evanescenti sulla rete significa, in un certo senso, non avere conoscenze affatto. Tutti i vari MySpace, Facebook ecc ecc li considero niente di più che semplici "collanti".
Ancora, sono essenziali? Non se ne puo fare a meno?
A mio avviso se ne può fare a meno, eccome!! La realtà è la fuori cazzo! E' la vita di tutti i giorni!
Non dovremmo far altro che accettare questa realtà, gustarcela, buona o cattiva che sia!
Mi ritrovo in piena linea con ciò che affermava l'avvocato Boccassi qualche giorno fa ospite ad un talk show: "la gente non è più in grado di comunicare guardandosi negli occhi". Quanto ha ragione!
Anch'io dovrei tornare a utilizzare internet nella sua bilanciata, equilibrata ESSENZIALITA'.
"Conoscere persone sotto forma di AVATAR, di fotina, di figurina...mhhh non trovo sia così reale da dedicarci troppo tempo..
"Come lo scultore che lavora la pietra....egli non aggiunge, ma rimuove il superfluo, l'INESSENZIALE".
E anche la vità di tutti i giorni dovrebbe essere considerata da questo punto di vista, levare via tutti gli strati che coprono la REALE natura delle cose, compreso sè stessi.
Conoscere la realtà significa anche non forzare il naturale sviluppo degli eventi ma adeguarsi ad essi; quando non lo si fa le cose si increspano. Quindi non forzare, "non fare nulla che non sia naturale o spontaneo".
Talvolta capita di voler sforzarsi coscientemente per dare alle situazioni la piega che si desidera e puntualmente si ottiene l'esatto opposto. Il motivo? Succede quando c'è una FORZATURA, un'innaturale tendenza all'agire.
Ho testato tutto questo su me stesso e di volta in volta conosco un pò meglio la realtà.
Per concludere, non forziamo il naturale corso degli eventi, ma scorriamo, come onde nel mare, nel flusso della vita, "UN PROCESSO IN CONTINUO DIVENIRE"...

La tavola qua sopra, disegnata qualche anno fa, rispecchia molto bene il mio punto di vista su quanto detto nella prima parte di questo post, ovvero la moderna incapacità di comunicare...

Thrash metal serie: Anthrax got the time of bass rehearsing

Ohhhh dopo un pò di prove, oggi sono riuscito a rifare la linea di basso di questo dannato pezzo di stramaledettissimo thrash metal. La linea centrale di basso è molto veloce e difficile da riprodurre, devo ancora perfezionarla...sono al 91% del processo, e questo pezzo si suona che è veramente una goduria!

After a few rehearsing time, today i got to the point i can recreate di bass line of this motherfuckin' track of goddamn thrash metal. The mid bass line is soo fast and hard to play, i still have to work on it....i'm at 91% of the process, and i gotta say that playing this shit is so fuckin' cool!!!

A lavoro, in questi giorni c'è una secca di clienti imbarazzante, per ore non c'è una minchia (proprio letteralmente) da fare, ed ecco cosa succede una volta impugnato il mouse: Goku disegnato di getto, direi a memoria.....è stata la cosa più produttiva della giornata...ne vado fiero!

I'm proud of it!

New York City Marathon 2009

E' ufficiale, versata oggi la prima quota (azz!! :)), prenderò parte alla quarantesima edizione della New York City Marathon il prossimo novembre.. Questo evento è una grande fonte di motivazione per me! Lavorerò bene per migliorarmi, e tutto questo lo faccio con grande piacere! In più è la prima volta che vado negli U.S.A. E andiamo avanti di corsa! Yeahhh!

TIM spot - orsetto Fredo che rutta

Questa pubblicità di un noto gestore di telefonia mobile, trasmessa in questo periodo da quasi tutte le emittenti tv, in modo particolare MTV, finisce dicendo qualcosa del genere: "TIM, la community CHE PARLA COME TE! Come me!!?? A me non sembra affatto di parlare in questo modo, forse la TIM, rivolgendo la pubblicità ad un pubblico giovane, pensa che TUTTI i ragazzi comunichino così, si forse per la stragrande maggioranza è così, ma per fortuna in giro c'è che si distingue e non si identifica in questo tipo di merdate....

Like me? I don't think i have such kind of slang, maybe TIM, by addressing this commercial to a young audience thinks that ALL of the guys or girls communicate with each other in this way, ok, for many of them it's true... but luckily there's somebody around who distinguish oneself and doesn't identify with this kind of crap...

Ho preso su carta e penna e di getto ho disegnato questo orco, direttamente a penna, prendendo spunto da un'action figure di cui sinceramente ignoro il nome.
Poi una volta in photoshop mi sono divertito a colorare il tutto a mano e mouse, in quanto mi piace, anche se si lavora al computer, che sull'illustrazione sia ben visibile l'inimitabile tratto manuale che sempre preferirò agli asettici effetti speciali dei programmi di grafica...

Drawn straight by pen on a piece of sheet accidentally found on my desk...I took inspiration from an action figure whose name i ignore. After this, on photoshop i had fun in coloring the whole thing by hand and mouse....yep the hand, 'cause i do care about the fact that the hand process is well visible on the illustration though i'm working with a computer. I will always prefer the hand than the aseptic "special effects" we may find on graphic program tools...

Un tributo al Kung Fu.. sublime arte marziale che pratico; Ho voluto disegnare questa sequenza che rappresenta il flusso, l'andare avanti. Credo che l'effetto speciale dello spostamento con le linee che perdono definizione più la velocità aumenta sia venuto molto bene, sono soddisfatto.
Inoltre ho utilizzate una ragazza come soggetto principale, non ho mai disegnato moltissime ragazze come protagoniste delle mie storie...magari questo può essere l'inizio di un filone...

A tribute to Kung Fu.. sublime martial art which i practice; I wanted to draw this sequence which represents the flux, the going on. I do believe that the moving effect with the lines that dissolve as the speed increases is well done, i'm satisfied.
Furthermore i used a girl as main character, i don't usually draw so many girls in my stories, perhaps this might be the start...

Nel dopoguerra molti reduci camminavano per le strade cercando sul selciato qualche cicca da raccogliere per poi unirle e farsi una sigaretta. Il mondo era crollato e se c'era qualcosa di utile per la sopravvivenza quella poteva essere soltanto nascosta tra le macerie o abbandonata sull'asfalto.

Camminare curvi è anche sintomo di depressione. Spesso chi lo fa si accartoccia su se stesso, quasi a proteggersi dalle ingiurie che lo minacciano. Eppure tutte le cose belle sono in alto. Gli alberi, il sole, la luna, il cielo e la speranza. Non si può rivolgere una preghiera guardando in un tombino.

Non c'è nulla di positivo sulla punta delle scarpe che muovono a fatica l'esistenza di tante persone. A testa alta è anche sinonimo di orgoglio, di fierezza, di non voglio essere bendato quando sparerete e desidero guardarvi in faccia. Questo anno nuovo di zecca, con ancora la plastica sui sedili, va affrontato con la consapevolezza che nessuna notizia potrà mai farci abbassare il capo. Se noi speriamo sempre che la fortuna degli umani dipenda dalla cabala, dal superenalotto e daglio oroscopi, prendiamo un granchio.

LA NOSTRA FORTUNA SIAMO NOI! Con il carattere, il coraggio, la resistenza e la fame di vita. Non ha senso festeggiare un anno che se ne va se non si è in grado di presentarsi alla partenza di questo 2009 corazzati e fiduciosi. Lasciamo che gli intrallazzatori si divertano a presentarci, a seconda del loro interesse, mondi virtuali e incomprensibili. Non potranno sicuramente fermare la pioggia che libera, il sole dell'estate che riscalda e tingere di nero lo splendore di un cielo che da quando esiste l'uomo ossigena la nostra esistenza. A testa alta! Brutti, belli, fortunati o meno, sollevate il mento dalle miserie terrene e volgete lo sguardo all'universo infinito e misterioso.

Godiamoci questo passaggio terreno diventando agenti attivi del continente felicità. Corazzatevi dentro e fuori e niente e nessuno vi potrà fare del male. Guardatevi dai saldi fasulli, dalle promesse malandrine, dagli agitatori prezzolati di sentimenti di massa. Voi, noi, siamo unici e abbiamo il dovere di comunicare a un certo mondo che non siamo facilmente gestibili come sessi credono. Facendo così sentiremo riempirci i polmoni di un'aria buona che non potrà mai trasformarsi in veleno. Sollevate la faccia ai vostri bimbi, fateli guardare oltre la playstation, raccontate le storie commoventi della vita reale e sconfiggerete la vita finta. In fondo siamo così semplici. Desideriamo tutti le stesse cose: pace, salute, dignitosa sopravvivenza, comunione di spirito e amore. Un pizzico d'amore che possa farci vedere il panorama sotto tutti i punti di vista diversi dal gretto possesso. Si, lo dico e, facendo una spremuta dei miei due o tre secoli, sono in grado di garantirlo: si può essere felici, si può godere questa meraviglia che è la vita secondo per secondo, possiamo galleggiare nel cosmo assieme ai nostri sogni e alle nostre speranze.

Questo sarà possibile se decideremo di vivere a testa alta.

Walking with one's head down is also a symptom of depression. Often the ones who do this curl up themselves as to shelter from insults that threaten them. And yet all the good things are up high. The trees, the sun, the moon, the sky and hope. One cannot address a prayer by looking at the inside of a manhole.

There's nothing positive on the toe of the shoes that move the existence of many people with difficulty. Head up high is also a symptom of pride, dignity, it means i don't want to be blindfolded when you'll shoot me and i wish to look right at your face.

This brand new year with still plastic on the seats, must be faced with the awarness that no news will ever make us bow our heads down. If we always hope that human fortune depends on cabala, on superenalotto and horoscope, we get the wrong end of the stick.

OUR FORTUNE IS US. With character, attitude, persistence, stamina and hunger of life. It has no sense to celebrate a year which is gone if we are unable to start up this 2009 armoured and self confident.

Let the wheeler-dealers have fun in introducing us, according to their interest, incomprehensible virtual worlds. They shall not be able to stop the rain that sets free for sure, the summer sun that warms us up and paint of black the brightness of a sky that oxigens our existence ever since the man has come to life.

Head up high! Ugly, good, lucky or less, raise your chin from earthly miseries and turn your look towards the boundless and mysterious universe.

Let's enjoy this wordly passing by becoming active agents in the continent of happiness. Armour yourselves inside and outside so that nobody's gonna hurt you. Watch the fake sales, the crooked promises, the hired agitators of mass feelings.

You, us, are unique and have the duty to communicate to a certain world that we're not so easily manageable as they believe. Like this we'll feel our lungs filled with good air which is never gonna turn into poison.

Raise your face to your children, tell them the touching stories of real life and you'll defeat the false one. After all, we're so simple. Everyone of us desire the same things: peace, health, a survival full of dignity, communion of spirit and love. A bit of love that makes us see the landscape from new perspectives, different than the shabby possess.

Yes, i say it, and by summarizing my two or three centuries i can guarantee that: we can be happy, we can enjoy this wonder which is life second by second, we may float on the universe along with our dreams and our hopes.

This shall be possible whether we decide to live with our heads up high.

YIN YANG - Filosofia, Arti Marziali, Vita - The Tao of Life - Per un 2009 equilibrato

Yin and Yang represent two interconnected parts of a whole, each of it holds the qualities of its complementary within its borders.

The Yang principle (white) represents positivity, maleness, brightness, the day, the heat and so on..

Yhe Yin principle (black) represents negativity, femininity, darkness, the night, the cold and so on..

The base theory about Yin Yang affirms that there's nothing which is not subject to change. In other words, when the activity (Yang) reaches the extreme point, it becomes inactivity which generates Yin.
In the same way, the inactivity taken to the extreme turns back into activity, which is Yang.

Then the activity becomes the cause of inactivity and vice versa. One can see as the two forces, apparently in conflict one another are actually mutually dependent: instead of opposition there are cooperation and alternation.

In the Yin-Yang symbol we may see a white spot in the black area and a black spot in the white one which explain the balance in life, for nothing could survive that long by getting to one of the two extremes, wheter it is about pure Yin or pure Yang.

The extreme heat kills and so does the extreme cold; the violent extremes can't last for a long time, but a sober moderation can. Therefore the positivity (Yang) is always hidden into negativity (Yin) and vice versa.

Good and evil or pleasure and pain may only exist in reciprocal function. They can be considered complementary one another rather than opposite and each of them exists because the other does.

Firstly, if i've never experienced pain, how could i understand pleasure and vice versa?

By staring at the sky, i can distinguish a small star from the bigger ones, but if there wasn't a dark sky as a background, there wouldn't be stars at all.

It's not about fighting between good and evil but flowing like waves on the water.

One one expands the other contracts; when one wants to take, the other must give.

Everything in this world reveals the alternation between existance and non existance (positive and negative).

We are one thing alone...

Approfittando delle vacanze natalizie, e lontano dalla attenzione dei media - troppo occupati ad occuparsi dicenoni a base di cadaveri - i cacciatori spareranno aicaprioli femmina e ai piccoli fino ad un anno di eta',dal 24 dicembre all'11 gennaio, indisturbati.Tutti gli anni andiamo a protestare contro la mattanzadei caprioli, ma con un messaggio contro ogni forma dicaccia, d'estate, a Ovada/Acqui, durante le prima fase(caccia ai maschi adulti). Quest'anno vorremo fare gli"auguri" ai cacciatori anche in inverno!Stiamo valutando la fattibilita' di un presidio sabato3 gennaio con orario 9.oo - 12.30, presso il Centro dicontrollo dell'ATC AL-4, in via Piave 4 ad Ovada (AL).Si tratta di un centro di controllo divenuto nel temposimbolico, ma come tanti altri negli innumerevoli ATC.

All the years we go to protest against the killing of roe deers, but with a message against any kind of hunting, on summer, in Ovada/Acqui, during the first phase (the hunting of adult males). This year we would like "to wish all the best" to hunters even on winter. We are indeed evaluating the possibility to organize a display on saturday 3rd january from 9.00 to 12,30 at Centro di Controllo dell'ATC AL-4, in Via Piave 4 in Ovada (AL). It is all about a control center become symbolic in time, but as many others in countless ATC's.

Il flusso è uno stato in cui l'individuo si disinteressa del sè, l'opposto del rimuginare e del preoccuparsi. In this sense, the moments of flux are devoid of ego. Paradoxly, the individual in a state of flux shows an overwhelming control on what he's doing and his responses are perefectly synchronized with the changeable requirements of the circumstance. Though the individual in a state of flux does his best, he's never worried to do well, he doesn't linger to think about success or failure: the pleasure pure and simple of the act itself is enough to be motivating.

Pensieri condivisi - Sull'autorealizzazione - Shared thoughts - On self realization

Fin da ragazzino ho sentito questo istintivo impulso e questa voglia di espandermi e crescere.

Per me il fine e il dovere di un essere umano, intendo un essere umano di qualità (non includo qui i gruppi di persone che non hanno assolutamente idea di che cosa sia la vita), è il sincero e onesto sviluppo del suo potenziale e dell'autorealizzazione. Non parlo di realizzazione dell'immagine del sè. Anche se qui devo interrompermi, per ammettere che un tempo, tanto tempo fa, rincorrevo la realizzazione di un'immagine di me piuttosto che l'autorealizzazione.

Ho scoperto un'altra qualità nell'arco del decennio scorso.

Ho capito attraverso serie esperienze personali e un costante apprendimento che in definitiva l'aiuto più grande è l'autoaiuto. Che non c'è altro aiuto se non aiutare se stessi, fare onestamente il proprio meglio, dedicarsi con tutto il cuore a un dato compito, e che tutto ciò non ha fine ma che è, piuttosto, un processo sempre in divenire,

Ho fatto molto durante questi anni. Bene, sono cambiato passando dalla realizzazione di un'immagine di me all'autorealizzazione, dalla propaganda cieca e dalle verità organizzate alla ricerca interiore della causa della mia ignoranza. Sono un uomo che lavora duro.

Since i was a child i felt this istintctive impulse and this will to expand myself and grow.

For me the goal and the duty of a human being, i mean a quality human being (i don't include in here the groups of people who have no idea of what life is), is the honest and sincere development of one's potential and self realization. I'm not talking about the realization of an imagine of oneself. Even though i have to stop here to admit that a long long time ago i used to chase the realization of an imagine of myself rather than self realization.

I've discovered another quality during the past decade. I've understood through a series of personal experiences and constant learning that in the end the biggest help is self help .

There is no other help than helping oneselves, honestly doing one's best, devote with all our heart to a given duty and that all of this has no end but it's rather a continuous becoming process.

I have done so much during these years, Well, i've changed by switching from the realization of an imagine of me to self realization, from the blind propaganda and organized truths to the inner search of the cause of my ignorance. I am a man who works very hard.

Colpa del fatto che dormo in tavernetta, della temperatura variabile, del fatto che nei supermercati in prossimità dei banchi frigo la temperatura arriva a - 5...boh, tutto fa.

gono informazioni; c'è qualcuno che ti dice quali concetti ti saranno utili e come funziona il mondo.
Poi inserisci i dati nel tuo computer e reciti il ruolo appropriato. Questo concetto si accorda bene a questi altri concetti?
Eppure, il modo migliore di imparare non avviene attraverso un calcolo di informazioni. Imparare è fare scoperte, far uscire quello che c'è in noi. Quando facciamo scoperte, portiamo alla luce le nostre potenzialità, i nostri stessi occhi, per trovare il nostro potenziale, per vedere
cosa sta succedendo, per scoprire come possiamo far espandere la nostra vita, per trovare i mezzi che abbiamo a disposizione affinchè ci aiutino a fronteggiare le situazioni difficili. Qualsiasi speculazione sulle cose, qualsiasi tentativo di ottenere informazioni e assistenza da un aiuto esterno non produrrà un'autentica maturazione. Chi lavora con me deve continuamente prestare attenzione al momento presente. "Sto sperimentando questo; adesso sento questo; adesso non ho più voglia di lavorare; adesso sono annoiato." Da questo punto si può procedere, discernendo che cosa, nell'esperienza presente, è accettabile per te, quando vuoi scappare, quando sei determinato tollerare te stesso, quando senti che stai soffrendo, e così via. Then you insert the datas in your computer and act the appropriate role. Does this concept well match with these other concepts?
Yet, the best way to learn doesn't occur through a calculation of informations. Learning is making discoveries, free what's inside of us. When we make a discovery we bring our potential to light, our eyes themselves, to find our potential, to notice what's going on, to find out how we may expand our life, to discover the means we have in order to help us face difficult situations. Qualche post fa avrete sicuramente visto degli sketch riguardanti Lupo Alberto.
Ora quelle prove si sono trasformate in due strisce definitive che hanno partecipato al concorso indetto sulle pagine di Kinart (http://www.kinart.it/) nella sezione Kontest, circa la creazione di due strips su Lupo Alberto...
E' stato un mezzo parto arrivare alle versioni finali che vedete qua sopra in quanto ogni processo creativo (storyboard, matite, chine) è dovuto essere supervisionato dai moderatori del forum, fumettisti a loro volta, che indicavano i vari possibili ritocchi per arrivare ad un prodotto il più professionale possibile..
Per chi non avesse mai disegnato sotto legida supervisione di un editore, consiglio vivamente, in futuro, di partecipare a concorsi simili, molto stimolanti e creativi...

Some post ago you have for sure saw some sketches about Lupo Alberto characters.
Well, now those sketches turned into definitive strips which have taken part to a contest by Kinart (http://www.kinart.it/)... the maximum strips to draw were two and ye can read 'em under the Kontest section of the forum..
You know what? Getting to the final versions of the above strips was pretty hard as each creative process had to be reviewed and approved by the moderators, cartoonists themselves, who gave advices about how to achieve the best possible result in terms of good quality..
For whom had never drawn under the supervision of an editor, i warmly suggest, in the future, to take part to such contests 'cause they are very stimulating and creative under every aspects...

Ciao a tutti!

Questa è l'opera autoconclusiva con cui ho partecipato al concorso fumettistico "Marcelo Ravoni". Si trattava di disegnare una storia pensata per una fascia d'età non superiore ai 10 anni e ho pensato che il problema attualissimo dell'obesità infantile e della sedentarietà che coinvolge una gran parte dei bambini moderni fosse un bel tema da rappresentare graficamente.

Sfortunatamente non sono riuscito a rientrare nelle prime cinque posizioni, ma nonostante ciò mi sono divertito molto realizzare questa storia e sono anche piuttosto soddisfatto dei disegni!

This is the short comic story which i drew for the comic contest "Marcelo Ravoni".

It was all about drawing a story for an age bracket of 10 and i thought that the current problems of youthful obesity and sedentariness were way valid matters to draw about.

Unfortunately i didn't achieve my goal to place this work at the first five positions but still i had such a grand time realizing this story and i'm pretty satisfied of the drawings as well!!

Searching for something real (in my own process)

For heaven's sake, you are what you are, and the honesty to yourself occupies a precise and vital part in the continuous process of becoming a "real" human being, not a plastic human being.
Since i was a child the word quality has meant a lot to me. In one way or another i'm sincerely devoting myself to this, with lots of sacrifices aiming to a direction and you may rest assured that Mister Quality himself will always be there. Somehow, one day, you're gonna hear someone say:"Hey! This is quality. Here's someone REAL."

I'd like to.
What can you ask in life but to be true, to fully develop your potential, instead of wasting energy trying to realize an imagine of yourself which dissolves, which ain't real and consumes your vital energy? A great job awaits us, which requires devotion and so much energy. To grow and discover we have to commit ourselves and it's something that i experiment each day, sometimes it's good, others it's frustrating. Whatever happens, you've got to let your inner light leads you out of the dark.
I admit i'm writing what comes to my mind. It could seem incoherent to someone, but i don't really care about. I'm just exactly writing up the thoughts which come to my mind. If we can communicate with each other (that i hope we can), it's good, otherwise we can't do anything.
For whom would like to know, i'm a martial artist for choice, an actor for profession (which is an expressive revelation and/or self knowledge) and i'm realizing myself day by day to be an artist in life as well.
Afterall, all the arts have a similar basis! You are free to make your choice and express your intrinsic potential. What is your conception of quality? I start from martial art, which is my first love.

Maledette vesciche! - Damn blisters!

Ciao a tutti rigazzi,

Torno a scrivere dopo un periodo di ferie in cui mi sono riposato ma soprattutto ne ho approfittato per concludere il mio impegno fumettistico di cui vi ho parlato qualche post fa..

Ieri, ultimo giorno di ferie, per variare la mia sessione di allenamento aerobico, invece di andare a sgroppare come un cavallo mustang per le strade ho optato per fare quattro tiri al campetto da basket qua del mio quartiere...

Mi sono divertito molto e ho giocato piuttosto bene, non fosse che alla fine, a causa di fottute calze da corsa inadatte per il basket, mi sono ritrovato ad avere non due semplici vesciche sotto le piante dei piedi (si, su entrambe maledizione!) ma delle vere e proprie stimmate!!

Le scarpe, che sono della stessa famiglia di quelle che trovate qua in foto, già più che rodate, hanno fatto il loro lavoro egregiamente....ma per quello sfregamento da calza inadeguata, oggi a lavoro (che svolgo in piedi camminando tutto il giorno), mi sembrava di camminare sui carboni ardenti tanto le vesciche bruciavano!

Beh, è stata una lezione, ogni giorno si impara qualcosa di nuovo!

Hi there!

I get back to write in here after enjoying my holdays in which i totally relaxed my mind and body and most of all i took the opportunity to finish to draw my comic story of which i talked about some post ago.

Yesterday, last day of holiday, to change my aerobic routine work out i went to the nearest neighborhood playground to play a little bit of basketball instead of running up and down the street like a mustang...

I had a really good time at last and i played rather well but unfortunately owing to goddamn inappropriate running socks to play basketball, i found the soles of my feet (yeah, both of 'em) covered in not just two simple blisters but real stimmates!

The shoes i used are the same of the line shown in the pic above, just another color, and they perfectly worked out but, because of the rubbing between sole and sock, today, at work (which i do by walking up and down all day long) it looked like i was walking on live coals for the burning!

Well, all in all i gotta say that i learned a lesson, everyday we have the chance to learn something new!

In questi ultimi giorni non sono più entrato a postare niente di nuovo in quanto, al momento e per le settimane a venire, sarò impegnato nella creazione di una storia a fumetti per un interessante concorso...
Non disperate comunque! Qui sopra potete ammirarmi in tutta la mia bellezza nei momenti in cui sono profondamente concentrato al tavolo da disegno e inoltre, sempre in questo post, potrete vedere come nasce e prende forma uno sketch fatto a mouse veloce veloce!

I haven't posted anything new lately, that's because i'm working on a comic story for a very interesting comic contest, therefore i'm gonna be a little busy for the coming weeks...

Era da molto tempo che desideravo realizzare questa veduta di Westminster riportata su una vecchia collezione di piatti di mia nonna; e ora, finalmente, dopo aver tirato giù il piatto dalla parete, ecco qua la mia ultima fatica...veduta di Westminster rivisitata secondo il mio personale punto di vista...
E' stato tutto molto liscio per quanto riguarda la parte a matita, mentre per la parte a penna, ogni singolo particolare ha richiesto veramente parecchia cura....ma alla fine mi son proprio divertito!!

I've been wishing to draw this view of Westminster originally portrayed on a collection of potter plates of my granma's for a long long time. Finally, after pulling down the plate from its wall i rivisited this picture from my personal point of view.
Everything was smooth as far as the pencil process is concerned, as for the pen one, of course, it recquired alot of cure and attention of the particulars.....but i had a really good time at last!!

Last year, at this time, i was finishing to pack my bags up, ready to move to the so called "Rebel City".

Beh, sul carroarmato non c'è nessuna spiegazione plausibile...circa il tizio con occhiali invece, se guardato bene assomiglia un pò al ragazzo giapponese del telefilm, in grado di piegare lo spazio e il tempo (Hiro Nakamura mi pare che sia il suo nome), che ogni tanto appare vestito da samurai con la spada...

Here i post two sketches of mine that i made by pen yesterday evening as i was watching the brand new episode of "Heroes" on tv....

There was a piece of paper on the tabe which was meant to be the list i'd use to do the shopping but this tv show inspired me to draw up a tank and a guy with a sword on (a sworded guy) and sunglasses on as well....(mah....), my mind.....

Well, about the tank there's no reasonable explanation......on the contrary, about the guy with sunglasses, if you take an accurate look at him, you can notice a resemblance to the japanese character of the show, the one who's able to flex space and time (i guess his name is Hiro Nakamura), who sometimes appears with a samurai outfit and a sword on...

.....contaminations....??
